My oldest child is pretty close to getting his learners licence soon. And he keeps reminding us. Again and again. And because of this he is often talking about road rules and observations he has. Nothing has made me feel more scrutinised by him than this season. The other day I finally reminded him that he doesn't have his licence yet and I have 22 years driving experience on him so I'm actually more of an expert than he is! Cheeky, know it all kid. My point is though, he is watching me. So you can bet that my driving at the moment is more cautious and accurate than ever before. Because I don't want him to pick up bad habits. This should translate to our spiritual example too. Those kids of ours see us. They are watching us. What are we teaching them that we are not paying attention to? This article is a reminder that we must be a living example of how to live a life with Jesus. But it emphasises that it isn't about always getting it right, it's about how we respond when we get it wrong. Check it out!
