Grief. What no one ever feels ready for.

Two weeks ago we had the 7 year anniversary of losing Matts amazing mum to breast cancer. She was only 54. We thought we would never breath without pain again. She was a very devoted Nanny to our kids, so even though they were little (5 and 7) it was a real loss for them too. It was hard for us to navigate our grief but even harder to know what to do to help Joey and Abi. To equip our children to face this world with confidence we must teach them to seek Jesus in every season that life brings. Both the good and the sad. This article has some excellent practical advice for helping children cope with grief but also advises on how to steer conversations back to Jesus and the comfort he can bring.
